" This wood is cheap, I would put it at a level above balsa wood. I thought it was going to break while being put together. The wood plugs are too small for the screw holes and they fell out. There was a gouge right through the finish on one side but we managed to hide it. Still considering returning it." by ckornutiak


" I ordered two units of the Winsome Wood Kingston "X" Design. I assembled the first one without any problem. It looked just as I expected. Works great for the space I have. The second came with a defective part. The insters that make the "X" in the middle were cut wrong so they don't fit in the cube. I sent a fax two weeks ago (per the manufacturer's requirement) asking for replacement inserts. To date, I have not heard back from anyone. It is a shame because the unit looks fine." by A.Perez

" Not too overly expensive, until you add the shipping cost! Also, the assembly was pretty straight forward, or so it seemed. But I was supposed to screw pieces of wood together, and the piece I was supposed to screw into didn't have any pre-drilled holes. And the "screwdriver" they supplied didn't stand up to the torque I had to apply to the screws in order to screw into the wood. Also, the wood isn't the most perfectly finished. But perhaps that's the effect they were going for. Overall, it looks good now that it's together, even if I did have to get another screwdriver to use. And I'm satisfied."  by J.Fuller

" This wine rack is horrible. There were very visible patches where some of the wood had been broken off and repaired badly. Sawdust was left in a slot and the final straw was that in the top piece holes should have been drilled to screw this to the rest of the rack and there were NO screw holes at all. I drilled the necessary holes and am using the wine rack but it really is very, very poor quality. " by bsqd
